Artificial intelligence, is it use safe?

Artificial intelligence : "the study of how to produce machines that have some of the qualities that the human mind has, such as the ability to understand language, recognize pictures, solve problems, and learn"

Artificial intelligence is currently called restricted AI, it is designed to perform simple tasks (facial recognition, internet search, driving a car). However, the goal of the researchers is to develop a strong AI, which would be able to surpass the human being on almost all cognitive tasks. It is essential that the AI does what it is asked to do. The short-term challenge is to prevent a self-sustaining arms race with devastating consequences.

In the long run, there is a question, what would happen if humans were able to create a better AI than humans?

Why can AI become a danger to humans?

In the first case, if the AI is programmed to carry out acts of destruction: autonomous weapons are programmed to kill. An arms race could result in war and massive casualties for humanity. These robots would certainly be difficult to disable so as not to be sabotaged by the enemy.

In a second case, if the AI is programmed to achieve a beneficial goal but uses destructive methods to achieve it. This scenario can happen if humans fail to adapt the AI objectives to our own.

If humanity cannot keep the situation under control, it will have to face a major problem.
